Could Ms. Marvel (aka. Carol Danvers) have a role to play in Joss Whedon’s AVENGERS 2?

If so then Katee Sackhoff is interested in portraying Marvel Comics’ mighty heroine.

The former BATTLESTAR GALACTICA actress – who was simply stunning as the re-gendered “Starbuck” – responded to a tweet calling for her to take on the role with a, “Hell yes!”

As Marvel have hinted at the possibility of a Ms. Marvel film, should Danvers appear in the AVENGERS sequel, it could lead the way to a series of movies.

However, before any of this is confirmed, Sackoff will be featuring in the upcoming RIDDICK. She can also be seen in the straight-to-DVD SEXY EVIL GENIUS with Whedon alumni Seth Green and Michelle Trachtenberg.
