Anyone who has speculated over the meaning of the countdown to June 14th on the Minister of Chance website and Facebook page need puzzle no more. The great news is that following the success of their fan-funded and free to download sonic movie of The Minister of Chance Radio Static (Dan Freeman and Clare Eden) are now starting on the film version of The Minister!

Production begins in July with the pre-title sequence called The Prologue which introduces the character of Durian played in the podcast by Paul McGann. The same approach to crowdfunding will be used just as it was for the free audio downloads – fans will be able to buy props and costumes from the film, lend them to the production then own the pieces after filming is complete. These funders will be known as Minister Moguls.
