UTERO, the new film from writer/director Bryan Coyne (one of the producers of THE HUMAN RACE) has finished principal photography this week in Los Angeles. It's co-produced by its star, Jessica Cameron, whose directorial debut, TRUTH OR DARE screened at the recent Jennifer's Bodies festival.
The plot of UTERO sounds intriguing: “an agoraphobic unwed mother who finds her psyche unravelling as she becomes convinced that her unborn child is more monster than human.”
The press release promises that the film "is a character-driven story that is structured in a similar fashion of the horror films of yesteryear. Audiences will be in for a treat as the story is original, and not a retread of story-lines that is all too common in today’s market".
