Casting on Edgar Wright’s long-awaited ANT-MAN is in full swing, with Deadline learning that actor Patrick Wilson is the latest to sign on. Wilson is well known to genre fans for his work in WATCHMEN, INSIDIOUS (and its tragically disappointing sequel) and THE CONJURING (and its forthcoming, hopefully un-tragic sequel). Sadly there’s no word as to who Wilson will be playing as yet, but stay tuned. For those who still don’t have a clue who we’re waffling on about, here’s a picture…

Wilson joins the previously announced Paul Rudd and Michael Douglas as the Ant-Men, while we still await confirmation that the wonderful Evangeline Lilly (LOST) is on board as rumoured. Fantastic cast, incredible writer/director… this is shaping up very nicely indeed.

ANT-MAN opens in cinemas July 15th 2015, and kicks off the MCU’s ‘Phase Three’.
