CosmicBookNews is reporting that the current front-runner for the role of Batman in Warner Brothers’ MAN OF STEEL sequel is none-other than TEEN WOLF’s Tyler Hoechlin. It’s claimed that, similar to the casting of Henry Cavill as Superman, the WB is looking to steer clear of any big Hollywood names to take on the Caped Crusader. The report says that the studio is that keen on the actor that they already want him to come in and read for the role alongside Cavill.

SPARTACUS’ Liam McIntyre put his name out there earlier this week for the Batman role, and I’m sure there’ll be a lot more names doing the same before we finally get ourselves a new Batman.
