Speculation has drowned the internet in regards to the MAN OF STEEL sequel, not only in regards to the Batman role but also to who will play notorious Superman arch-nemesis Lex Luthor (see our story last week). Surprisingly an interview from the Metro (US edition, not ours) has unearthed that BREAKING BAD star Bryan Cranston seems very interested in nabbing the role. 

To the idea of playing Lex, he responded with a grin saying “Give me a call. I like Lex Luthor. I think he’s misunderstood. He’s a loveable, sweet man”. Admittedly it isn’t much information to go off, but a positive interest in the idea is certainly encouraging for the future.

Also seriously, how unbelievably amazing would Bryan Cranston be as Lex Luthor? Make it happen Snyder!
