Variety is reporting that Superman himself, Henry Cavill, is the new front-runner for the lead role of Napoleon Solo in Guy Richie’s THE MAN FROM U.N.C.L.E.

The Solo role was Tom Cruise’s until a week or so ago, with him having to drop off due to commitments to the recently confirmed MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE 5.

If Cavill does sign on to replace Cruise, he’ll join Armie Hammer and Alicia Vikander on Richie’s film. More news as we get it…
