We were rather big fans of the Spain’s 2010 real-time horror movie THE SILENT HOUSE (or LA CASA MUDA if we’re being pedantic), and though we are hesitant to endorse yet another western remake to satiate audiences who can’t be arsed to read subtitles, this first trailer actually looks very interesting…

SILENT HOUSE is helmed by the directing duo behind the underrated OPEN WATER, Chris Kentis & Laura Lau, and stars Elizabeth Olsen of MARTHA MARCY MAY MARLENE (which we’re eagerly awaiting to see). US readers can prepare to be scared silly when the SILENT HOUSE opens its doors on March 9th. There’s sadly no official release date for the rest of the world as of yet, but we’ll let you know…
