A few months ago, BATTLESTAR GALACTICA’s Katee Sackhoff was asked on Twitter if she would be interested in playing Carol Danvers, aka Ms. Marvel/Captain Marvel. Her answer: a resounding ‘hell yes.’ Well, appearing on the latest Schmoes Know podcast, the actress implied that she has already been in talks with Marvel.

Revealing that Marvel have made enquiries about her availability, Sackhoff said, “There’s been a lot of questions about the first quarter of next year.”

In terms of what Marvel/Disney will be shooting during the first quarter of next year, that points firmly towards Joss Whedon’s AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON. Adding 2 and 2 together and likely getting 475, could this mean that Marvel may be looking to introduce Carol Danvers in their AVENGERS ASSEMBLE sequel? I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
