MAN OF STEEL hasn’t even hit cinemas yet and Warner Bros. is already eyeing up its director, Zack Snyder, to take the helm of the anticipated Justice League movie.

In a news story from the latest edition of Empire, the studio have said “Whether we get a JUSTICE LEAGUE, depends on MAN OF STEEL,” and if that film performs well, “Zack Snyder will be asked to direct.”

This isn’t the first time it has been speculated either. Just a few days ago GANGSTER SQUAD director Ruben Fleischer told Screen Crush that it will be “something that Zack Snyder is going to wind up doing.” It is interesting indeed, even if Ruben makes the prospect of directing a Justice League film sound like an unavoidable chore.

Of course, all this excitement does still depend on the success of MAN OF STEEL at the box office when it rolls out June 14th.
