Colin Trevorrow, director of the upcoming JURASSIC PARK sequel has took to twitter to drop a hint when JURASSIC WORLD is set and to explain that it isn’t a reboot as rumoured:

Reboot is a strong word. This is a new sci-fi terror adventure set 22 years after the horrific events of Jurassic Park.

This can only mean one thing. It’s 22 years later and people are still trapping oversized dangerous creatures in cages with no luck. Will they ever learn? Probably not if the film does well as there’s bound to be sequels.

JURASSIC WORLD is reported to have already cast a few main parts with Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Ty Simpkins, Jake Johnson, Nick Robinson and Irrfan Khan to get in on the action. Expect velociraptors coming directly at you in 3D on June 12th 2015.
