Following on from last month’s rumour that Joseph Gordon-Levitt is being primed to don the cape and cowel as his DARK KNIGHT RISES character John Blake (aka Robin) in Warner Bros’ JUSTICE LEAGE movie (highly doubtful), comes news that his next foray into the world of superheroes might actually be with Marvel. Deadline are reporting that Gordon-Levitt has joined the likes of Joel Edgerton (THE THING), Jack Huston (SHROOMS), Jim Sturgess (CLOUD ATLAS), Lee Pace (LEE PACE), Eddie Redmayne (LES MISERABLES) and Zachary Levi (CHUCK) in testing for GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY lead Peter Quill, aka interplanetary policeman Star-Lord. Whether Levitt (or any of the aforementioned actors) will win out remains to be seen, but we’d expect an announcement soon. The most important question though… who’s going to play Rocket Raccoon?!
