So, at first it was simply to be a Superman-themed MAN OF STEEL 2, then Ben Affleck was cast to appear as Batman. Okay, we’re going to get a ‘World’s Finest’ type affair, most thought. Nope, then Gal Gadot was cast as Wonder Woman. Right, but that’s going to be a small part, right? Similar to that rumoured Dick Grayson appearance, yeah? Well it appears that the ever-expanding MAN OF STEEL sequel is adding another name to its ranks.

The Hollywood Reporter claims that GAME OF THRONES’ Jason Momoa is in talks for a role in Zack Snyder’s sequel. Early speculation is leaning towards said role being that of either the monstrous, villainous Doomsday or of Justice League member, the Martian Manhunter. Personally, I can’t really see him as J’onn J’onzz, but Doomsday would be a perfect fit.

Expect to hear more on this as it becomes available.

Snyder’s MAN OF STEEL sequel is currently scheduled for a 17th July, 2015 release.
