After the box-office disappointment of the brilliant SCOTT PILGRIM VS. THE WORLD, it seems that the dream team of Edgar Wright, Pegg and Nick Frost are finally getting together to start the third in their ‘Three Flavours Cornetto’ trilogy THE WORLD’S END.

With the concept still tightly under wraps, all we know so far is that this is the team’s take on the disaster movie genre and will dole out the same split of spoof and homage that so impressed us with SHAUN OF THE DEAD and HOT FUZZ.

The confirmation that work is underway came from the above photo released on @EdgarWright’s twitter.

Hopefully some more concrete information on this one will arrive shortly and production will start properly once Pegg has finished the currently filming STAR TREK 2 for JJ Abrams.
