As previously reported, Joss Whedon not only has the eagerly awaited AVENGERS and CABIN IN THE WOODS hitting this year, but also two more low budget movies developed in-house via his own “micro-studio” Bellwether Pictures.

The first, a contemporary take on Shakespeare’s MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING, was already shot in secret late last year for release soon, and the second, the even more tantilising IN YOUR EYES, a Whedon-penned supernatural drama will go before cameras next month with up-and-comer Brin Hill at the helm.

And now the first cast member has been revealed in the form of MAD MEN star Abigail Spencer…

As to who she’ll play, it’s presumed she will take one of the lead roles in the “metaphysical love story about two seemingly polar opposites who are deeply connected in ways neither could have ever imagined”. That’s right, nobody’s any the wiser about the plot since Whedon last issued that one line synopsis, but in times of daily plot spoilers and leaked images, we can only applaud them for taking such a mysterious approach.

Of course as soon as any plot spoilers or images are leaked we’ll get straight on them.
