Following on from the recent news that Disney are officially moving forward on the development of a third TRON movie, comes confirmation that LEGACY star Garrett Hedlund is set to reprise his role as Sam Flynn.

Jesse Wigutow* is the recently announced screenwriter with LEGACY Joseph Kosinski expected to follow up the fantastic looking OBLIVION (watch the trailer here if you didn’t catch it earlier this week) by returning to the world of TRON for round three.

* Though there’s of very little interest on his CV, he’s currently got a few noteworthy screenplays in various stages of development, including THE CROW reboot and Disney’s PETER PAN AND THE STARCHASERS.
