Whilst Marvel is currently hitting it out of the cinematic ball park and ploughing head first into a mass of marvellous television through their recent deal with Netflix, DC are starting to make the first steps to hopefully doing the same. With BATMAN VS SUPERMAN being developed, ARROW flying high on TV screens, and a Flash show planned, Guillermo del Toro has confirmed that DC is looking at making plans “for the entire DC universe.”

Speaking to Cinefilos.it about whether his JUSTICE LEAGUE DARK movie is still happening, del Toro revealed, “We’re still on , writing, and hopefully it will happen, but there are no developments that are new. We’re still at Warner Bros. They are making plans for the entire DC universe. All the superheroes, all the mythologies, and part of that is JUSTICE LEAGUE DARK. They’re planning on TV, movies, and all the media, so we have to fit into that plan.”

So, who else could DC be looking at getting their own movie or series? By the sounds of it, the answer could be pretty much everybody.

As well as ARROW on TV, and a Flash show to follow, we’ve got BATMAN VS SUPERMAN, which is to also feature Dick Grayson, with constant rumours of Wonder Woman, Flash and Green Arrow to also make appearances in Zack Snyder’s MAN OF STEEL sequel.

At this point, BATMAN VS SUPERMAN is looking at a 17th July, 2015 release.
