With the long-awaited GOOSEBUMPS film starting to move forward, The Wrap claims that Jack Black is being lined up for the film. As we previously reported back in March, Rob Letterman will be directing the adaptation of R.L. Stine’s work, and the director has previously worked with Black on SHARK TALE and GULLIVER’S TRAVELS.

Very little is actually known about the project at this time, although it will be a kid-friendly fright-fest based on the classic children’s horror tales. Stine’s work was also adapted into a TV series in the 1990s.

Expect to hear more on this as it develops.
