In what could be an inspired piece of casting, DEXTER’s Michael C Hall has told Vulture that he wouldn’t dismiss the role of Daredevil if it was offered to him.

“I would definitely consider it… but I can’t tell you any inside information because I think they’re nothing but rumours,” he said. He added that he’s mainly looking at short-term projects, in both TV and theatre, after previously starring in five seasons of HBO’s SIX FEET UNDER before the eight seasons of Showtime’s recently-concluded DEXTER.

He added, “I really am enjoying mixing it up a little bit, and I’m committing to things that have a foreseeable end in sight when I start them, but I wouldn’t rule out the possibility of happening at some point. But I’d have to read the script!”

Marvel’s blind (or visually challenged if you’re of the politically correct persuasion) superhero will receive his own 13-part original series on Netflix as part of a recent deal between the two companies. BUFFY veteran Drew Goddard will write and direct the first episode, which will begin filming in New York this summer.

What do you think? Would Hall make a good Matt Murdock/Daredevil?
