With a sequel moving forward for James DeMonaco’s THE PURGE, Deadline is reporting that Frank Grillo has joined the film. Grillo is best known for THE GREY, and he’ll be seen next year as the treacherous Crossbones in CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER.

At present very little is known on THE PURGE 2. DeMonaco is returning to write and direct, and – spoilers – certain members of the first film will clearly not be returning. The sequel is to be handled by Blumhouse Productions and Platinum Dunes.
