Another day another found footage horror movie goes into production; this one might have something though. At Sundance this year one of the breakout indie horror films was found footage anthology film V/H/S directed by a bunch of up and comers in the genre. Part of that squad was a team of directors known as ‘Radio Silence’. These guys must have made an impression on someone because they have now signed on to direct found footage horror THE REAWAKENING for Lionsgate.

Described as “equal parts FLATLINERS and FRANKENSTEIN” the film will take its cue from the Mary Shelley classic and also involve some kind of meditation on the nature of death and rebirth. Interesting…

For those who are anticipating it, V/H/S will hit cinemas in October. The fact that Lionsgate is willing to place their bets on a team that has only directed part of one film so far is probably a good sign.
