From the ‘out of nowhere’ file comes poster for a film which just finished shooting called PHANTOM.

The movie follows the captain of a haunted Soviet submarine who holds the fate of the world in his hands.

The official synopsis is: ‘The Captain of a Soviet submarine holds the fate of the world in his hands. On a seemingly haunted vessel with a rogue element on board, Captain Demi is forced to face his past in order to find redemption in the present, But in the depths of the south pacific, man and machine are not alone’

The stellar cast includes genre staples Ed Harris, David Duchovny, William Fichtner, Lance Henriksen and Sean Patrick Flannery. The film is written and directed by Todd Robinson, whose previous feature was the little seen thriller LONELY HEARTS a few years back.

PHANTOM currently has no distribution but with that cast and premise it shouldn’t be too long.
