The first footage has been released for the much anticipated Sci-fi time-twister LOOPER. Directed by Rian Johnson, who counts BRICK and THE BROTHERS BLOOM as his previous offerings, and starring Jason Gordon-Levitt, Bruce Willis and Emily Blunt, it’s seemingly got all the ingredients required to be a real break out Sci-Fi smash. Much like fellow time travel related mind-bender SOURCE CODE from last year, it’s been receiving plenty of positive hype in the build up to its release and this early footage will only fan those flames:

Set in 2042, the plot revolves around a hired killer who works for the mob offing bad guys who are sent back from 2072. After recognizing one of the people sent back as looking uncannily like himself, the killer hesitates and his possible future self escapes.

A full trailer is expected soon, so keep your eyes peeled.

LOOPER opens September 28th.
