The latest oddball offering out there seems to be the does-exactly-as-it-says-on-the-tin WOLFCOP. With a lycanthropic lawman as the star of the picture, Lowell Dean’s movie is causing quite the underground buzz. Now comes the first real look at what audiences can expect to see from this crazed concept.
The plot for WOLFCOP reads:
“It’s not unusual for alcohol cop Lou Garou to black out and wake up in unfamiliar surroundings, but lately things have taken a strange turn. Crime scenes seem oddly familiar. Lou’s sense are heightened, and when the full moon is out, he’s a rage-fuelled werewolf. WOLFCOP is one cop’s quest to become a better man… One transformation at a time.”
Directing by Dean, WOLFCOP features Leo Fafard, Amy Matysio, Jonathan Cherry and Sarah Lind. It will see a 6th June limited cinema run in Canada before it hits the usual home release markets.

Here’s hoping a UK release of some form follows later this year. Then we can see if this idea’s crazy enough to work.
