In recent weeks and months we’ve seen the first look at Ben Affleck’s Batman from BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE, not to mention a glimpse of Henry Cavill as Clark Kent. Now comes the first official image of the other side of CK – Superman.

In addition to this image, director Zack Snyder has been speaking to USA Today about his follow-up to MAN OF STEEL. Firstly, in an attempt to satisfy those concerned that BATMAN V SUPERMAN is starting to look far too crammed, he explained that the addition of the likes of Wonder Woman and Cyborg will make the movie “thicker, denser and more epic.” That will then apparently benefit the cinematic DC world as it moves forward to 2017’s JUSTICE LEAGUE.

Other snippets to come out of Snyder’s chatter include his thoughts on the older, grizzled Batman (“It’s cool to see a crusty old Batman beating the snot out of guys”), why the movie’s title has a V rather than a VS (“To keep it from being a straight versus movie, even in the most subtle way”), and how he’s not yet shot a scene with Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman (“She’s working out and getting buff and ripped.”)

So, ‘thicker, denser and more epic’ or just crammed, convoluted and congested?

BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE is currently set for a global release on 6th May, 2016.
