With Alan Taylor’s TERMINATOR: GENESIS now officially shooting, the first images have surfaced, courtesy of TheArnoldFans, of Arnold Schwarzenegger on set. Safe to say, he’s back, complete with familiar leather jacket and sunglasses.
Clearly Arnold is looking a lot older than in his initial T-800 outings, although it’s been said that his ageing will be explained in the film. Rumoured explanations range from Arnold playing an actual human who the T-800 is based on, to the skin of the T-800 having actually aged. Yes, the skin of a cyborg aging. We’ll hold back on judgement for now…
As well as Das Arnold, the film also features Emilia Clarke as Sarah Connor, Jason Clarke as John Connor, Jai Courtney as Kyle Reese, Dayo Okeniyi as Danny Dyson (son of Miles Dyson), and roles for J.K. Simmons, Byung-hun Lee, Michael Gladis and Sandrine Holt.
TERMINATOR: GENESIS is currently set for a 1st July, 2015 release.
