Things have been quiet on the BILL & TED threequel since last March (read that story here), but today comes news that will delight/terrify fans of Ted Theodore Logan & Bill S. Preston, Esq – the project now has a director attached!

So who’s the lucky guy or gal about to potentially risk a lifetime of shit from trolls claiming he raped their childhoods or some such missive? Why it’s non other than the director responsible for the frankly amazing and bafflingly underappreciated GALAXY QUEST, Dean Parisot!

As previously reported, actual real-life mates (bless!) Alex Winter & Keanu Reeves are both on board to reprise their roles, in a script by original writers Ed Solomon & Chris Matheson that will take a look at just what these guys are up to twenty-one years (!) on from their BOGUS JOURNEY.

Vulture (who landed the exclusive) reports that the film is currently being shopped around Hollywood looking for a studio to co-finance with rights holders MGM (who are probably now skint again after ponying up for that third HOBBIT flick).
