The fact that there’s a HUMAN CENTIPEDE 3 in production is something that quite simply puzzles us. The first film’s premise was disgusting, yet the movie itself largely left things to the imagination. The second one, not so much so. Still, bad reviews from critics and fans alike is nothing to keep a horror franchise down, and here we are with a third outing for the “bringing people together” series. Eric Roberts is one of the stars of this latest effort, and he’s been discussing the film with Entertainment Weekly.

Roberts said, “It’s really horrible. We have a centipede that is made of prison inmates, and they’re all hooked together. When you see this, you will never want to commit a crime and go to prison. If you can imagine a hot summer day, and there are hundreds of men all bent over and they consist of the human centipede.”

Yeah, if the thought of going to prison itself wasn’t a deterrent for crime, this fictional human centipede is enough to put us off all criminal activities. We guess maybe the prison is trying to power an iPad.

In THE HUMAN CENTIPEDE 3, Roberts plays Governor Hughes, the head of said prison. It’s claimed that this latest movie will feature a centipede made up of 500 people, plus there’s the return of the big bads of the previous two films, Dieter Laser and Laurence R. Harvey.

No exact date is known for THE HUMAN CENTIPEDE 3 at this point, but it’s expected to be released towards the end of the year.
