With exorcism thriller THE DEVIL INSIDE currently scaring up a storm overseas, director William Brent Bell is striking while the iron’s hot by signing a deal with Warner Bros. to helm their similiarly themed religious horror thriller THE VATICAN.

Scripted by David Cohen, the project will reportedly employ the tried and tested (or should that be ‘tired’ and tested?) Found Footage approach alongside a more traditional narrative. 

No concrete details are available as of yet regarding Cohen’s story, but considering his previous screenplay SUBJECT ZERO landed on 2011’s Hollywood’s Black List (compiled of the hottest un-produced scripts doing the rounds) we’re expecting interesting things.
