Just when you think that ARROW has got a nicely filled out roster of DC characters involved in the show, TVLine is now reporting that William Tockman, aka Clock King, is to join its ranks. Not only that, but PRISON BREAK’s Robert Knepper has been cast in the role.

The Clock King debuted back in WORLD’S FINEST COMICS #111 in 1960. From his initial appearance, he was considered a Green Arrow villain. His main M.O. is that he carries out precision crimes, often using clock-themed tricks and gadgets. It’s also worth noting that he is often portrayed as a member of the Suicide Squad, which has already been confirmed as appearing at some point in Season 2 of ARROW. Headed up by Amanda Waller, it’s been said that Bronze Tiger and Deadshot will be a part of the show’s Suicide Squad, and I really would not be at all surprised if the Clock King joins the team’s ranks.

In terms of comic book characters, this season alone we’ve been introduced to versions of Black Canary, Sin, Brother Blood, Bronze Tiger, Isabel Rochev, Dr. Ivo, and Cyrus Gold, aka Solomon Grundy. Oh, and did I forget to mention the mother freakin’ Flash?!

The mid-season finale of ARROW aired last night in the US, so expect a review later this week.
