With Peyton Reed now on board to direct, Marvel Studios’ ANT-MAN has added another new face. Step forward, David Dastmalchian. Deadline reports that the actor, who appeared as one of the many Joker thugs in THE DARK KNIGHT and starred in PRISONERS, has joined Reed’s movie in an unconfirmed role.

Dastmalchian joins a cast that features Paul Rudd as Scott Lang, Michael Douglas as Hank Pym, and unconfirmed roles for Evangeline Lilly, Patrick Wilson and Corey Stoll.

Despite the recent departure of Edgar Wright, ANT-MAN is still set for a 17th July, 2015 release.
