Batman-News has the latest info on a pimped up box-set on the way for Christopher Nolan’s THE DARK KNIGHT trilogy. Christened THE DARK KNIGHT TRILOGY ULTIMATE COLLECTOR’S EDITION, the set will apparently feature a host of new extras and will not just be a case of cashing in even further on The Bat (yeah, right!).

The set will include nine discs, including two Blu-rays and a DVD per movie. There will also be a host of new and exclusive special features, some nice looking artwork and some die-cast replicas of the Bat-vehicles seen throughout Nolan’s trilogy.

No exact release date has been given as of yet, although late 2013 is the expected arrival. Also, no price has been set yet, but I’m guessing it will cost a pretty penny.

Here’s hoping that the set reaches UK shores, unlike the amazing MARVEL PHASE ONE briefcase set that we missed out on.
