It’s been a loooong time coming, but 1986’s fantastic cult comedy classic is finally being geared for a DVD release courtesy of ‘The Scream Factory’. The company is a spin-off arm of ‘Shout! Factory’, who are well known for tirelessly bringing us the kind of gems that no larger label would be willing to pump money into. Today they released their plans for their next range of eighties horror classics (following on from HALLOWEEN II & III, TERROR TRAIN, THE ISLAND to name a few), and alongside TERRORVISION is the less exciting but still damn cool THE NEST, a killer cockroach movie from 1988. They also teased further titles destined to delight many a Starburst reader.

Sadly there’s no further information to be gleamed from their announcement, so we don’t know what to expect in terms of special features, Blu-ray possibilities, or even release date, but if you bookmark their site HERE or facebook page HERE, we’re sure more details will follow soon. Just the fact that it’s on the way is enough to make us happy, as the film has never been available on anything other than crusty ol’ VHS.
