Not being too familiar with the EXTREMIS comic book arc on which IRON MAN 3 is reported based, personally I’m uncertain as to what’s exactly going on in this piece of concept art Marvel has just debuted. Why just the one Iron-glove and Iron-foot? Why do the pieces of the suit seem to be malfunctioning (look closely at his left foot and there seems to be a few sparks). Is this mid-transformation? Is this the nanotechnology being monkeyed with in the storyline that results in the Iron Man armour becoming melded with Stark? Intriguing.
