Ok, the title’s a slight misnomer, not to mention unadvisable, as Dennis Nedry found out to his cost back in the original. A more apt title would be “Colin Trevorrow Tweets a Photo Which Kind of, Almost, Shows a Dinosaur”, but that’s not as snappy (crap pun intended).

After months of teasing us with photos of pretty looking scenery and even prettier looking cast members (and of course Chris Pratt), the director’s now tweeted a photo hinting that he does actually plan on having dinosaurs in his dinosaur movie. Now, not possessing either a degree in palaeontology or Ross Geller’s phone number we’re not going to hazard a guess which dinosaur it is. Suffice to say it’s one of the bitey ones.

This photo comes mere hours after Executive Producer Frank Marshall tweeted a pic of himself in what appeared to the the Jurassic Park branch of Starbucks (the park presumably having pretty favourable tax rates). Considering the film takes place 20 years after Steven Spielberg’s original, in a fully operational park, it makes perfect sense that various well known companies such as Starbucks would have franchises there. Let’s just hope they’ve got good insurance.

JURASSIC WORLD, starring Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Vincent D’Onofrio and some dinosaurs goes back online June 12th, 2015.
