The Ectomobile that is the Ghostbusters 3 news machine continues to drive on but could we finally have confirmation this film will not only be filmed next year but also actually exist? After we covered the Jonah Hill and Emma Stone casting interest rumour yesterday, we have another piece of news and one that interestingly backs Dan Ackroyd’s comments about the threequel shooting in 2014. The basis of the story comes from NBC Cleveland, Ohio online source WKYC, who said:

“More movie projects are on the way. One being the sequel to “Ghostbusters” as Sony has penciled in spring 2014 date to start shooting the third installment here in Cleveland.”

As of right now Columbia Pictures remains as quiet as an abandoned tower block but could a metaphorical marshmallow man be coming along to shake some life into things? By now you may be hoping they had crossed the streams on the project but this news will likely intrigue an awful lot of you GB Fans out there. Seeing two Ghostbuster 3 news reports that could lead to something? Now that is something strange!
