With J.J. Abrams hard at work on a new STAR WARS trilogy, there are constant rumours regarding which actors will end up as part of a galaxy far, far away. KICK-ASS star Chloë Grace Moretz has been giving her thoughts on being a part of the saga.

Speaking to MTV, Moretz said, “I mean, obviously there’s interest – it’s STAR WARS. I’d kill to be a part of that franchise, but I don’t know J.J., I’ll give you my phone number. You can text me.”

Though there was a rumour floating around that, when KICK-ASS’ Matthew Vaughn was up for the directing job, he pitched a female-centric story with Moretz in the lead, it’s unknown whether there’ll be a place for her in Abrams’ story. However, the recent leaked casting list does have roles for one girl fitting the decription of “late teenage great sense of humor, also physically fit” and another “also late teens, tough, smart and physically fit”. These descriptions are more than a little reminiscent of Hit Girl, so it’s entirely feasible that, should this leak be genuine, Moretz could fill either of these roles.

At present, STAR WARS: EPISODE VII is set for a summer 2015 release.
