Kickstarter is becoming a great way of finding and supporting new talent, and one such project that has piqued our interest is CALL GIRL, a new horror short being put together by newcomer Jill Sixx Gevargizian, from a script by Eric Havens of downrightcreepy.com.

The film promises to be about “a lonely man who plans to share his first experience with a ‘lady of the night’ via webcam. It is a sickening tale that reminds us that there is no refuge behind the computer screen. It will frighten. It will shock. Some people like to watch…Do you?”

The film has a modest goal of just $3,500 with plenty of perks on offer including autographed DVDs, a screen used prop and on-screen credit.
The stars of two recent hit horror films have already signed on to appear, namely Laurence R. Harvey from The Human Centipede 2 (Full Sequence), and The Human Centipede 3 (Final Sequence) and Tristan Risk, best known as Beatrice in American Mary.

You can find out more over at the Kickstarter page, and follow the production on Twitter @CALLGIRLfilm.

We wish them well and look forward to seeing the finished film!
