There’s been constant rumours of a sequel to Ridley Scott’s BLADE RUNNER for decades now. In a recent interview with IGN, star Harrison Ford has revealed that there have indeed been talks about a follow up to Scott’s 1982 epic.

Ford said, “We’ve been chatting about it. I truly admire Ridley as a man and as a director and I would be very happy to engage again with him in the further telling of this story.”

Whether a sequel to BLADE RUNNER would work in today’s climate remains to be seen. Has that ship sailed? Is there a demand for it? Would a sequel only serve to tarnish the legendary reputation of Scott’s original? Sound off below.
