With David Cronenberg making the shift to more grounded stories over the last decade (unless his proposed FLY reboot/sequel follows on from A DANGEROUS METHOD), it looks like it’s up to his son Brandon to continue the Body Horror legacy with his newly announced feature debut ANTIVIRAL.

So what’s the story then? Tell us this isn’t classic Cronenberg: Caleb Jones (X-MEN: FIRST CLASS) plays a salesman working for a clinic that specialises in providing their customers with celebrity diseases (Lindsey Lohan fan? Be like her and get your VD today!). After becoming obsessed with a particular celebrity, our protagonist unwisely gives himself their disease – forcing him in to a race against time to cure it! Say whaaaa?!

It’s still early days yet, but rest assured we’ll be keeping a close eye on this one! More news when it drops…
