I’m not talking about through natural passage of time, I’m talking Edgar Wright’s ANT-MAN being released on July 15th, 2015 instead of July 31st, 2015, bringing the first film of Marvel’s Phase Three two weeks closer.

Wait just a second though, didn’t something used to be happening on that day? That’s correct, BATMAN/SUPERMAN has just vacated that release date to head to 2016, which is convenient as I’m sure a lot diaries cleared up for that day. Not only do we have something to see mid-July (other than Joe Wright’s PAN), but it’s just two and a half months after AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON which means no one will have time to get Marvel Universe withdrawals.

Unfortunately, those of us with Edgar Wright withdrawals still have to wait until July 15th, 2015, but at least it’s two weeks earlier! Wright has co-written ANT-MAN with Joe Cornish and stars Paul Rudd as Scott Lang and Michael Douglas as Hank Pym, as well as a long list of rumoured actors who are as confused as we are.
