With Gal Gadot having this week been announced to be playing Wonder Woman in Zack Snyder’s MAN OF STEEL sequel, Amy Adams, the first film’s Lois Lane, has been giving her thoughts to SuperheroHype on the matter.

When asked about a possible Lois/Superman/Wonder Woman love triangle, she said, “Am I interested? I don’t know. I mean, we’ll see. I hope that I can be involved with a woman on screen where we’re not in a love triangle. That would be fun. Maybe where we team up together and we work as teammates instead of adversaries.”

Adams also claimed to be unaware of the Wonder Woman casting until that particular day’s batch of interviews.

In terms of Lois and Wonder Woman, I guess the dynamic could be a little similar to the relationship between Thor, Jane Foster, and Lady Sif; Jane is his main love interest, but she can never be his equal in terms of stature and physicality, which is where Sif comes into it.

With some of the more recent DC books depicting Superman and Wonder Woman involved in a relationship, it’ll be interesting to see which route Warner Brothers decide to take with this possible conundrum.

The MAN OF STEEL sequel – which still isn’t officially called BATMAN VS SUPERMAN just yet – is set for release on 17th July, 2015. Adams also revealed that she expects production to commence in February.
