With Chris Cooper set to play Norman Osborn in Marc Webb’s THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2, the actor has been speaking to Access Hollywood about what we can expect to see from Norman.

In terms of THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2, Cooper said, “This is an introduction to Norman Osborn, and, apparently, this leads to better things in SPIDER-MAN 3. I think it’s fair to say he’s on his last legs and I don’t know if I can say anything more.”

So, we wonder, what could possibly transform Norman from his ‘last legs’ to ‘better things’? *cough* Goblin serum *cough*

The looming presence of Norman Osborn was teased several times during THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN, and he’s set to play a pivotal role over the next two Spidey films.

THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 is currently set for an 18th April, 2014 release.
