It’s time to go down the rabbit hole once again as Mia Wasikowska and Johnny Depp are set to return in Disney’s ALICE IN WONDERLAND 2. (The sequel won’t be titled with that unimaginative moniker, so Disney assure us.) Tim Burton, however, will not be returning to direct. Instead THE MUPPETS and MUPPETS MOST WANTED director James Bobin will be at the helm. So it’s in good hands. Disney have also confirmed that the new Wonderland adventure is set to appear in cinemas May 27th 2016.

It will be interesting to see if ALICE IN WONDERLAND 2 can replicate the ridiculous $1bn worldwide box office gross of its predecessor. Time will tell…
