French horror director Alexandre Aja is rapidly joining Guillermo Del Toro in terms of the volume of projects he has in various stages of development. At some point over the next decade he will be adapting Joe Hill’s HORNS, adapting manga SPACE ADVENTURE COBRA and has written and is producing a remake of MANIAC. Now added to that list is another adaptation, this one is of Image Comics’ UNDYING LOVE.

UNDYING LOVE is a tale which finds a former soldier falling for a vampire and instead of being put off, he decides he is going to rescue her from her undead life and takes on her creator, a powerful vampire protected by a supernatural Hong Kong underworld.

The comic’s creators Tomm Coker and Daniel Friedman have been writing a script which Aja is now in negotiations to direct for Warner Bros.
