Previous saddled with the somewhat problematic title of XERXES, the newly branded 300: BATTLE FOR ARTEMISIA will see Green portray Artemisia herself, the golden goddess who convinces fallen king Xerxes into once more waging war on Greek forces.

Green was last seen in the TV show CAMELOT, but is probably best known to genre fans for her portrayal of Vesper Lynd in CASINO ROYALE. She will next be seen in Tim Burton’s DARK SHADOWS.

Warner Bros. & Legendary Pictures plan to start shooting 300: BATTLE FOR ARTEMISIA early next year, with Noam Murro (SMART PEOPLE) wielding the megaphone. We’re still baffled by the choice of director.
