Horror have now announced that a further seventeen classic serials will be broadcast on the channel from this October, in the specially remastered versions previously released on BBC DVDs. Talons of Weng-Chiang’ (first screening on 2nd, 3rd and 6th October)

Horror of Fang Rock (first screening on 7th and 8th October)

City of Death’ (first screening on 9th and 10th October)

The Sontaran Experiment’ (first screening on 28th October)

The Sun Makers’ (first screening on 29th and 30th October)

The Time Warrior’ (introducing Elisabeth Sladen as Sarah Jane Smith, first screening 24th and 27th October)

Alina Florea, Director of Programming for Horror Channel, said today: “It’s been great to be able to offer our regular fans the classic Doctor Who content, but it’s equally exciting to see Time Lord devotees flock to Horror Channel in greater number and take part in the various on and off air activities that resulted in a surge in viewership and social media interaction. With the newer batch of re-mastered episodes, there will be even more reasons for our viewers to tune in and stick around for more fright, thrill and shock.”

The episodes will be repeated at various points during the day. New episodes featuring Peter Davison, Colin Baker and Sylvester McCoy are expected to air in November. Check out www.horrorchannel.co.uk for further details.
