Deadline have reported that FOX’s upcoming MINORITY REPORT TV sequel has added Daniel London, who’ll reprise his role from the 2002 movie, alongside THE FOLLOWING’s Li Jun Li.
London will be returning on the pilot as PreCrime’s quirky caretaker, Wally. Set ten years after the original film, the series sees Wally helping a precog named Dash to establish a new identity, all the while supporting Detective Lara Vega in her continual crusade against crime. Li Jun Li will be taking on the role of a CSI technician who works alongside Vega.
The series is focused around Dash, who makes up one of three precogs ”after the end of Precrime in D.C.” He struggles to lead a normal life, even with his ability to see the future. But when Dash meets Detective Vega, a new opportunity is presented to put his powers to use.
The pilot has been written by GODZILLA’s Max Borenstein (who’s also acting as showrunner) with GAME OF THRONES’ Mark Mylod directing.
Expect to be hearing plenty more on this show as it develops.
