Little may be known about DC and Warner Bros.’ upcoming WONDER WOMAN, but bringing on TV alumni Michelle MacLaren to develop and direct the film was a stroke of genius. But now The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that MacLaren, whose TV credits include BREAKING BAD, THE WALKING DEAD and GAME OF THRONES, and Warner Bros. have parted ways.

The website stated: “Given creative differences, Warner Bros. and Michelle MacLaren have decided not to move forward with plans to develop and direct WONDER WOMAN together.”

The movie, starring Gal Gadot in the titular role, is set to open in June 2017. It’s unknown whether MacLaren’s departure will have any effect on the date. We’ll bring you more as we hear it.
