With production now underway on Marvel’s The Punisher, the Jon Bernthal-starrer has brought in five new additions.

Marvel Entertainment has announced that 11.22.63’s Daniel Webber will be playing Lewis Walcott, a young veteran who has had a difficult time readjusting to society; A Lonely Place of Dying’s Jason R. Moore is Curtis Hoyle, a pal of Frank Castle’s who’s one of the few who knows that Frank is still alive; Nurse Jackie’s Paul Schulze is Rawlins, a top-ranking member of the CIA; Bates Motel’s Jaime Ray Newman is Sarah Lieberman, Micro’s wife; and The Wolf of Wall Street’s Michael Nathanson is Sam Stein, a Homeland agent.

On these new additions, showrunner Steve Lightfoot said, “We couldn’t have asked for a more talented group of actors to round out the cast of Marvel’s The Punisher. It’s a thrill to watch them each bring their characters to life with such layered, nuanced performancers.”

These new additions join a cast that also includes the aforementioned Bernthal as Frank Castle/The Punisher, Ben Barnes as Billy Russo, Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Micro, and Amber Rose Revah as Dinah Madani. Additionally, Deborah Ann Well’s Karen Page, previously seen in Marvel’s Daredevil, will have a role in The Punisher.

Marvel’s The Punisher is expected to land on Netflix later next year.
